In my view, midwifery requires not only a medical education but also a deep interest in the world of women, birth, and love. So I keep discovering new facets of this “science”, studying perinatal psychology and psychotherapy, sexology, and breastfeeding, and preparing women for childbirth and motherhood. I also very much want women to realise that motherhood can be entirely different yet equally beautiful in every case.
